Sabrina & Jordan: Modern Spring Copper & Marble Wedding

S+J are (almost) to their one month anniversary. After meeting in high school on the very first day of their freshman year and then dating for a decade before making it “lifetime” official, these two true sweethearts planned and hosted THE MOST BEAUTIFUL spring wedding. In Chicago, spring is not often the time of year when we see a lot of weddings – with such unpredictable weather here, S+J’s day could have held a snowstorm or a monsoon or the sunshine they got! It was certainly windy, but also bright and cool and perfect.

Their venue, The Haight, was the best setting for their fresh, modern tastes – and the decor Sabrina dreamt up was like nothing I’ve ever seen. Since she is a full-time floral/wedding consultant for Town & Country Gardens, I had a hunch her flowers would be breathtaking, but in the end words failed to describe the beauty of the floral & decor as it came together that day. S+J disciplined themselves to wait to see their reception space until it was all ready, even though they were both getting ready onsite. That moment might be one of my absolute favorites from the day!
