Amanda is a senior at Elmhurst College, working her way towards earning her bachelor’s degree in Communications. Amanda has always loved helping others, as well as being apart of special moments in people’s lives – so event planning seems like the perfect fit for her! After years of helping her parents plan & coordinate church events & gatherings, her passion for planning developed even more. Amanda spent this past spring interning at her college’s Special Events office, where planning & executing corporate and recreational events became the daily task. She recently had the opportunity to design an entire visual layout of one of her school’s events (called the Faculty Wine & Cheese event) where professors, faculty, & additional school personnel could unwind and enjoy an elegant evening after a long semester. Amanda also enjoys expressing herself in anything & everything that she does, including art, music, fashion and more! Event planning has become another new adventure that she hopes to continue exploring & mastering, as she learns and grows with You Name It Events this summer!
